The horizontal stuff is actual cloud. The diagonal stuff is contrails in various states of dispersal. And I’ve no idea at all what the round ones are. Again taken out my window.

Another shot of inclement weather in Sydney. This one was taken in the morning from our balcony looking toward the southern end of China town. The building I work in is behind the big one on the right. Most mornings I get to work without being rained on, others, not so much.

At other times the rain wins out over the sun and we get these miserable damp fogged in views.
The tower in the middle is the main building at the University of Technology, Sydney. It’s a notable (and not particularly attractive) landmark in the southern section of the central city and it amuses me to see it lost in the fog like this.

The clouds and sun in Sydney frequently conspire to turn on these beautiful skyscapes.
Work is 20 floors up and one of the windows regularly affords beautiful sky views. Or at least it did, there’s an apartment block there now.
In this shot I particularly like the painted look of the clouds in the top left and the sun radiating down through the rain in the center right.
