After Carmel we proceeded south down the coast road toward San Luis Obispo. Along the way we stopped to watch a beautiful sunset over the ocean, something you only see on west coasts of course.

A colorful sunset.
Things are a little out of order here, this set is assorted Sunnyvale photos, mostly from before Andrea arrived.
Mostly what we have is a bunch of me messing around with the new camera module.

I shot this from the car on the way back from the Pinnacles, I’m a complete sucker for sunset colors.

Here’s a closer crop of the same sunset, as usual I was drawn by the mix of colors, especially the green cast in the lower right.

I had another work trip to Silicon valley in November.
It was only a short trip without much opportunity for photography, but I did catch this one beautiful sunset from the office window.
This is the sunset that was backlighting the beer.
